I'm so PO'd.
I leave tomorrow to go to Alabama to have an early christmas thingy with my grandma and my aunt and people up there. So I figure maybe I'll take my camera and get pics of snow and get to play in snow for the first time in well over 10 years.
Then the weather report tells me they're not expecting snow up there until christmas day, even though it's going to be raining all weekend.

I got a teeth cleaning today. My first in a little over two years. So my teeth hate me right now, even though cleaning was this morning, it's now almost 12 at night. Looks like the white spots aren't anything to really worry about as long as I keep brushing like I have been, but I do have a soft spot in one of my top molars that's gonna need a filling. Yay.
And the Thunderbirds will be at Eglin next year in April. Guess who's taking a road trip around that time and why. OwwO;

I NO LONGER BELIEVE THAT LIFE AFTER THIS PROJECT CAN PHYSICALLY EXIST. I'M NOT GOING TO BELIEVE IT'S THERE UNTIL I ACTUALLY SEE IT FOR MYSELF.

There's a small backstory you need to read to understand the purpose of this post.
So my sister was trying to watch a movie tonight on the intarwebs when she commented that every time she tries to download something, half of it out there is porn under a false name. I made mention of Rule 34; she didn't know what it was, so I googled it. The first link that came up was an encyclopaedia dramatica article. I read it. I followed a few links and ended up here. Content is not worksafe, but there are no pics. There might be naughty ads on the side though.

Wasn't particularly a bad thing either. So I posted a request on the S:E boards for a specific field of expertise... yesterday?... and fully expected it to be shunned and/or ignored by everyone but a small number of people I can count on one hand and still have fingers left over. Hell must have frozen over, because as much as certain people have refused to work with me in the past on anything, I come back today to find I have FIVE (count 'em) replies. Of those, three were from people I had least expected to even read my post. CIVIL replies at that.
Not that I expect things have changed, and certainly, they haven't from my perspective, but I just found this to be noteworthy for the time being. I blame it on christmas spirit or some shit.
